David
Rourke is the director of The Relaxing Transition to Retirement
Program. Over the past 14 years he has helped hundreds of individuals
and couples plan and enjoy their retirement by creating a comprehensive,
customized roadmap for each client. As the Director of The Strategic
Planning Group and the founder of The Relaxing Transition to Retirement
Program, David and his staff implement and monitor the trademarked
program for their clients. Strategic Planning Group helps those
facing retirement to make decisions without worrying about work
to support their lifestyle. David is so passionate about helping people through the
retirement transition, that he recently provided advice to thousands
of listeners on the radio program PM Magazine
hosted by Lindsay Parker. David has also been a guest on the David
Brudnoy show in Boston. Before founding The Strategic Planning Group,
David was a registered representative for Prudential Financial Services.
He graduated from Holy Cross, where he earned a degree in Economics.
David is actively involved with civic and charitable causes, including
Road
to Responsibility and the Boys
and Girls Club of Newton. David lives in Wellesley with his
wife Ann and their five children.
Frank
Arren
Client Relationship Manager
Following
a nine-year relationship as an SPG client, Frank joined the firm
in September 2003. Frank has more than 25 years experience in the
financial services industry. Prior to joining SPG, Frank was a Vice
President in the Corporate Banking Division of BankBoston, VP and
Client Relationship Manager with Chase Global Funds Services Company
and most recently a Director of Client Services at EquiServe, L.P.
in Canton, MA. Frank lives in Needham with his wife Christine and
their daughter Jennifer.
Chrissie Devlin
Office Manager
Chrissie joined SPG in January 2006. Previously, she held the
position of office manager for a telecommunications firm and had been
involved in the retail sector over the last 10 years. She graduated
from Emerson College with a bachelor's degree in Speech. Chrissie is
also a seasoned vocalist and musician who has performed in several
different kinds of bands. Currently, she is the lead singer in a
rock and roll band, which performs at venues all around the greater
Boston area. Chrissie is mother to sons Coleman, 21, and Collin, 19
and daughter Colby, 18. She lives in Walpole.
Marc Gonick
Portfolio Analyst
Marc
joined SPG in April 2005 after working for Putnam Investments for
5 years. He was in plan administration managing 401(k) plans. He
also worked in the trust department overseeing early morning trading
and dealt with many aspects in the mutual fund area. Marc has his
series 6 license and his real estate license. Prior to working at
Putnam Investments, Marc was the owner of Blackers Brothers in Newton
for 10 years. Marc, his wife Doreene and their son Joshua reside
in South Easton.
Jarrod
Sherman
Financial Planning Analyst
Jarrod
joined SPG in September 2000 after working for 4 years as a registered
representative at Fidelity Investments. While at Fidelity, Jarrod
worked in the 401(k) and pension department of Fidelity Institutional
Retirement Services Co., serving clients such as Royal Dutch/Shell
Oil, General Motors, ABB, FMR, and Avery Dennison. He also worked
as corporate action analyst in the Fidelity Pricing & Cash Management
Group processing mergers, acquisitions, tender offers and 144 exchanges
for all Fidelity trust and retail mutual funds. Jarrod has his Series
7, Series 24, and 63 licenses. He lives in Norwood with his wife Christine.
